The editors of a proposed book, in collaboration with the Constitutional and Democratic Justice Initiative, hereby invite original and well-researched contributions on diverse aspects of constitutionalism and constitutional adjudication. The publication, titled *Trends in Constitutionalism and Constitutional Adjudication in Nigeria, is intended to serve as a reference for legal practitioners, national and international organisations, non-governmental organisations, academia, and constitutional law students. It will also provide a multipurpose policy guide for government.

Contributions should adhere to the following specifications:
a. Full Papers: 6,000 – 8,000 Words
b. Case Reviews: 4,000-6,000 Words
c. Page numbering must be at the bottom centre.
d. Manuscripts must be typed in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, 12-point font, on A4 paper.

The title page must include:
(i) Name(s) of Author(s)
(ii) An informative title
(iii) The affiliation(s) and address(es) of the author(s)
(iv) The email address and telephone number(s) of the corresponding author

Every submission MUST include an abstract of not more than 250 words. Each submission MUST also include 4 to 6 keywords.

Contributors must strictly adhere to the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) Uniform Citation Guideline. References must be in footnotes, automatically generated and numbered consecutively. No endnotes or bibliography are permitted.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS

Contributors are to note and strictly comply with the following guidelines:

2. Originality: All submitted manuscripts must be original works, not previously published nor currently under review for another publication. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.

3. Structure: Manuscripts should be logically structured with clear headings and sub-headings. A coherent introduction, analytical body, and substantive conclusion are expected.

4. Clarity and Style: Arguments must be presented with clarity and precision. While academic rigor is required, contributors should aim for accessible prose suitable for a broad readership including practitioners and students.

5. Submission Format: The complete manuscript, including the title page, abstract, keywords, and main text, must be submitted as a single Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx) via email to the provided addresses.

6. Review Process: All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. The editors’ decision, based on reviewer recommendations, is final. Authors will be notified of the outcome.

7. Copyright: Upon acceptance for publication, authors will be required to grant the publisher the exclusive right to publish and distribute the work in all forms and media. The moral rights of the author will be respected.

8. Editing: The editors reserve the right to make necessary copy-editing changes for consistency, grammar, and style, in consultation with the authors.

Additional Note:
Prospective contributors are strongly encouraged to align their submissions with the listed “Interested Areas.” Interdisciplinary perspectives that connect constitutional theory with contemporary socio-political challenges in Nigeria and beyond are particularly welcome. Early submissions are appreciated.
